Bloom of the Island | 岛心绽放
The name 岛心绽放 (Dǎo Xīn Zhàn Fàng), meaning “Bloom at the Heart of the Island,” conveys a poetic narrative of life flourishing amidst the rich cultural and natural rhythms of Singapore. Each piece serves as a reminder of the harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, artistry and purpose, much like the city-state itself.

This little gem began as a test piece for glaze experimentation. I shaped it into delicate blooms to make it more visually appealing—and it worked! This Christmas, these charming creations are making their debut, ready to bring beauty and joy to the world.
I used them as paperweights and magnets for my household shelter door. Love to hear any ideas on what else I can use it for.
