Ceramics: Wheel-thrown Porcelain Ware

Wheel-throwing Workshop | Beginner (2 Hours)

Chill in the cosy pottery studio with local ceramicist Agnes Lim and create your masterpiece on the throwing wheel. A session suitable for small groups of friends and couples. Have a try on the throwing wheel and learn about porcelain throwing.

At the end of the workshop, students may select two items for glaze firing.

This workshop is suitable for beginners who are keen to try their hands on porcelain on the throwing wheel.

What’s Included
Clay, apron, tools and glazes.The firing of 2 pieces of work.
Light Nibbles and non-alcoholic drinks.

Attire
Dress decently :), but in clothes that can get dirty – this class is hands-on.

Collection of Finished Works
Each student will get to choose 2 pieces to be fired from this session. Works will be glazed in the colour of choice, and finished works will be available for collection after 4-8 weeks, as they require glazing with colour and 2 rounds of firing.

Children
Yes – over the age of 7 years (must be accompanied by an adult).

*Additional firing @$15/pc (3rd and subsequent pieces onwards).
