Description
Ceramics: Private Workshop
Pottery Experience Workshop (min. 3.5 Hours, minimum for party of 4 pax)
A Unique Experience In Singapore
Are you seeking a unique experience in Singapore and a memorable experience for your family and friends? Consider hosting a private event centred around pottery making in wheel-throwing and/or hand-building. Participants can unleash their creativity in this hands-on and intricate art form under the guidance of local ceramicist Agnes Lim.
Typically, we start off with a lesson on wheel-throwing and/ or hand-building techniques. Then, once the clay has been shaped, participants can proceed to the next phase of the experience: ceramic decorating. This is where participants can let their imagination run wild, from intricate designs to abstract patterns, with endless possibilities.
The final decorating process often involves glazing, which is the application of a liquid coating that, when fired in a kiln, creates a glass-like finish on the pottery; this process will be solely done by the artist.
This experience is an excellent way to de-stress and bond with family and friends in a homey, cosy setting. While working together to create something beautiful at the same time is a great way to strengthen relationships and create lasting memories. It is also a chance for experienced participants to learn from one another and share their ideas and techniques.
Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or other milestone, this experience can make the occasion even more special. Participants can create personalized pieces of pottery to take home as a reminder of the event and treasure for years to come.
Share your objectives and expectations with us, and we’ll plan the event to fit your expectations and hopefully give you a holistic experience to take home.
